We are one of the world's biggest suppliers of independent programmes to the international radio industry. We currently produce and syndicate shows, podcasts and programmes for over 70 artists, DJs and brands - including a large percentage of the Top 100 DJs. Some of the biggest names in electronic music trust us to manage their radio careers and we now have an exciting opportunity for someone new to work alongside them and begin their career in the audio and music industry.
We work with over 450 international radio partners, airlines and music services including Sirius XM, iHeart, Spotify, Slam, FG, Fun, NRJ, British Airways and many more. Reporting to our Head of Electronic Music, part of the responsibility of the Radio Coordinator will be to help build and maintain those relationships, whilst seeking new partners and opportunities for our A List clients.
We'll trust you to:
Manage radio station relationships
Work with our database of radio partners to distribute client radio shows globally
Research and seek out new distribution partners / radio stations
Generate client reports and feedback
Liaise with artists and mangement to plan distribution campaigns and agree effectiveness metrics / KPIs.
Ideas generation for radio stations (offer new & relevant shows / exclusivity deals / guest mixes / interviews etc)
Upload radio shows to platforms
Manage Distorted’s in-house distribution portal
What you'll need:
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Personable and professional manner - relationship management is a big part of this role
Good copy writing skills
A passion and some knowlege of the dance / electronic music world
Understanding of basic promotional and marketing techniques
Keen, can-do attitude
We have a hybrid work policy and the successful candidate would be expected to work Mondays & Wednesdays in the Leeds office with the wider team and the rest from home or wherever best suits.
£21,000 - £23,000
25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, and all the kit, software and training you need to get started.
