Sister Bliss is a true pioneer of British dance music. As a founder member of Faithless she’s sold over 15 million albums and written genre-defining anthems like “Insomnia”, “God Is a DJ” and “We Come 1”. She’s undoubtedly one of the scene's original trailblazers and probably the biggest female DJ the world has ever seen.

Our Story
Starting her career in the underground clubs of London in the early 90s, over the last 30 years she’s become one of the most respected figureheads for the dance scene and headlined clubs, venues and festivals in all corners of the globe. She’s worked with everyone from Boy George to Dido, played seminal sets at Glastonbury and is cited as an inspiration by many of the biggest electronic artists and bands.
We’ve been working with Sister Bliss for over 7 years now. She’d been doing her own weekly radio show on Ministry of Sound’s online station for a number of years and really enjoyed the process. When the station closed down in 2016 it gave her an opportunity to re-evaluate her offering and push her love for all things radio to another level.
She wanted to create her own radio brand and launch a completely new weekly show where she could play the music she loved, support new artists, and showcase her label signings.
We spent a lot of time working on the concept, and together created Sister Bliss In Session. We looked a the structure, format and sound, and created a whole new sonic identity for the programme. Within 12 months the show was a huge success and provided Bliss with a regular platform to showcase her work and passion.
Blissy loves the process of being a DJ - mixing the music for the show in her own studio each week, before recording the voiceovers and sending everything over to her producer at Distorted. We put together the final version of the show and handle all the syndication and digital distribution of the programme.
Sister Bliss in Session is broadcast on over 60 stations around the world, to a combined audience of 8.7 million people. We're currently working on a documentary series with Bliss for broadcast with a major platform in 2022.
