We’re a small but mighty team of creative people, mostly based in Leeds. We also have team members in Manchester and London.


We create content that is consumed right around the world. Someone walking through Central Park in New York or sitting in a cab on Syndey Harbour Bridge might be listening to our programs and podcasts, and we’re proud to reach a global multi-million strong audience from our offices and studios in the north of England.

Current Vacancies:

Producer: Music Programmes

Distorted is a leading content producer for the international radio industry, working with some of the biggest names in electronic music. 

Due to continued growth, we now seek an exceptional individual to join our team. 

Working on a hybrid basis with regular visits to our HQ in Leeds, you will be an experienced music industry professional with a specific passion for the electronic music scene. 

 

Happy working alone or as part of a team, with headphones on or at an industry event, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Show design and production

  • Script development and liaison with artists

  • Mixing and engineering of shows

  • Publication of completed shows to relevant portals

  • Development of new concepts, features and ideas for content

  • Relationship management with artists and their teams

As a varied and interesting role, you will have:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills (with other languages an advantage)

  • Exceptional production & sound engineering skills

  • A proven ability to manage and allocate resources and time

  • A willingness to learn and help the business grow

  • A 'can-do' attitude

  • A genuine passion for media and music, the electronic music industry in particular

  • Good knowledge of Ableton Live is essential, and skills will ideally include knowledge of Adobe CC and Canva.

 

In return, we will offer you:

  • A permanent contract with a respected voice in the industry

  • A friendly, flexible, supportive work environment

  • £25,000-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

  • All required equipment and training
