Exciting news in the Distorted office: our radio documentary "Trans Truths; Living Authentically" for Virgin Radio has been nominated not once, not twice, but THREE times!
The Radio Academy ARIAs for Best Factual Single Programme
New York Festivals Radio Awards for Best Educational Documentary
Prolific North Champions Awards for Audio Production of the Year
Director Alex Jungius said, "It's an absolute honour to be recognised for shedding light on the reality of being transgender and sharing important stories.
Huge kudos to our amazing team, especially Ryan Winders and Cat Marr, for their dedication and hard work in producing such a powerful documentary. And of course, a huge thanks to our incredible host, Stephanie Hirst.
The nominations are proof that sharing stories and experiences can have a huge impact and we hope create positive change."
Cloud-based platforms are great, but they rely on hardware that can fail. When screens act up mid-surgery, it’s chaos. A quick dead pixel check with a fullblackscreen test before a critical shift might seem trivial, but it’s a simple safeguard for display reliability. Preventive checks belong in any surgical workflow.
Three nominations for the Trans Truths documentary is amazing news! By the way, if you ever need to turn typed text into handwritten-looking pages with font, paper, ink, spacing, PNG export, and PDF export controls, I've been using a great text to handwriting converter that makes everything feel more personal. Who wouldn't want their notes to look like they were written by hand?
I wasn’t expecting to find so many interesting points here, but several parts really made me stop and think. fnf
