​Podcast Editor (Audio + Video)

Fixed Term Maternity Cover • 9-12 Months (with option to become full time)

 

We’re looking for a brilliant Editor to join our team on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. If you love bringing stories to life in audio and on screen, understand what makes people stop scrolling, and can craft everything from slick audio edits to punchy Youtube and TikTok clips, we want to hear from you.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

• Editing full-length Branded Podcasts (Audio & Video).

• Creating stand-out content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, you’ll know what works where and how to grab attention fast.

• Bringing strong editorial judgement and creative flair to everything you do, adding your ideas and making good audio and video great.

• Working closely with our producers, taking feedback and delivering to deadline without breaking a sweat.

• Finessing the details, captions, subtitles, brand feel. You’ll have a sharp eye for all of it!

• Communicating clearly with the team, talent, and clients (very important), collaboration is a big deal here.

• Flexing your skills across a range of podcasts and genres, no two projects are ever quite the same.

 

What we’re looking for:

 

• You know your way around Audition & Davinci Resolve (or similar) and can show us your best work.

• You’ve got solid experience creating for social platforms. We don't care if you've worked at a big or small company previously but we want someone passionate and forward thinking. Experience of working in a team and with clients is important but a hunger to create great content with our help is key.

• You’re creative, confident in your judgement, and happy to throw in fresh ideas.

• You’re a team player who can also crack on independently when needed.

• You’re comfortable working to deadlines and staying cool under pressure.

 

The package:

You’ll be working alongside our Brand Content team across a wide mix of shows. 

 

We’re a hybrid team with our HQ in Leeds. We're looking for someone Yorkshire based or happy to travel to our offices twice a week (Mondays and Wednesdays).

 

• Annual starting salary around £27,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
