Updated: Jan 5, 2023
From today (29th Nov) My105 Radio, launch a media partnership with Tomorrowland’s One World Radio – one of the world's biggest festivals for electronic music - and is bringing One World Radio to German-speaking Switzerland.
Tomorrowland is the most recognisable dance music festival brand, and One World Radio is its official radio station and content platform. This is Distorted have been working with Tomorrowland to connect them to radio networks and find suitable partners for One World Radio.
My105 is a Geneva-based radio station with DAB coverage in German-speaking Switzerland and an impressive online streaming platform. This syndication will bring thousands of new listeners to the station and create a fantastic opportunity for Tomorrowland to spread its brand further.
Nick Evans from This is Distorted says: “We're very used to syndicating radio shows to radio stations which are usually 1 or 2 hours long. However, one World Radio presented us with a new challenge - syndicating a fully produced 24/7 radio stream!
Finding the right partners has been crucial for such an influential brand as Tomorrowland. Working with Giuseppe from My105 has been inspirational with his creative ideas to bring OWR to the German-speaking territory in Switzerland. We're delighted to see the station launch on the platform today!”
In February 2019, Tomorrowland celebrated its 15th anniversary with the launch of its own digital radio station, One World Radio. What initially started as a special, temporary anniversary project turned into an ongoing success story and became a permanent radio station that is now a reference for electronic music lovers across all genres and borders. And now the makers of my105 are launching One World Radio in German-speaking Switzerland.
Debby Wilmsen, press coordinator and spokesperson for Tomorrowland, says: "We are delighted to have found such an experienced and successful partner for German-speaking Switzerland in my105. Together we will make One World Radio big here and inspire even more Swiss people for the festival."
And Guiseppe Scaglione my105 - DJ Radio: “We are incredibly proud and honoured to launch "One World Radio - The Sound Of Tomorrowland", one of the most exciting radio projects in German-speaking Switzerland. After continuously and very successfully expanding our leading position in the field of electronic music over the last few years, we are reaching the next level with this partnership - a milestone in our company's history. We would like to thank Distorted, especially Nick Evans, for establishing the contact and for being part of the project from the beginning.
As of now, One World Radio - The Sound Of Tomorrowland - can be heard via DAB+ and on the my105 website and app.

A neglected part of the process receives the attention it deserves in this article. The author explains how decisions made before the visible action can shape everything that follows. This perspective helped me understand why final results do not always tell the complete story. Readers may wish to find out more about the earlier stages described only briefly here. They appear to contain some of the most practical lessons. The article succeeds by looking beyond what is immediately visible.
